Whole Child Education

We believe that educating children to be kind to each other, themselves, and the world will lead them to be happier adults.

We believe that children’s emotional and physical well-being is essential to their academic progress.

We believe feelings, imagination and a sense of wonder are as important as intellect.

We believe that physical movement improves mental focus, memory, and cognitive flexibility. In fact new research shows just how critical it is to academic performance.

We believe in Shirin Yoku , the healthful and healing effects of simply being in and exploring our natural environment.

We balance these beliefs by providing unstructured time for imaginative play, exploration and socialization in addition to structured time for learning and instruction.
